Food was great and came out fast. Everything was so flavorful, juicy, hot, and had a great ratio from wrapper to filling. The beef fried rice was great, and so was the green beans. So crispy! Their pekking duck? OIL-LESS AND CRUNCHY. Needless to say, it was delicious. The restaurant was spacious enough where we were able to navigate through comfortably with a stroller, though it did get tight in and out of the shared bathroom area. Seating was a bit cramped by the walls when you're scooting in/out of your chair as to not disrupt the party behind you, though. Service started off nicely before the dinner rush came in (6pm was when it got busy), then it was hard to flag a server down, but the bussers cleaning off the finished baskets/plates were fast, so our tables weren't left unattended for too long.

I didn't have lots of expectations from this place since it's in the middle of tourist spot in Giradely square. Came to my surprise, the food was so delicious! So much to try, they have lots of different items on their menu. I loved all the decor and vibe. The squid ink fry rice is a must try. Dim sum was on point. Service was friendly and fast. I will have to try to come back here next time I'm in town.

Palette Tea House I came here for a medical dinner and was very surprised with their fantastic food and service. We got things family style, and everything that came out was delicious! My favorite was definitely the Peking duck, I'm already a bit biased cause I love duck but this is the first time I've had Peking duck with caviar on top, a subtle difference, but a nice added taste. The rainbow Xiao long baos were delicious, and their lobsters were so easily eaten from their shells. The Mapo tofu, beef dish, and snow peas were top tier as well. The only complaint I have about the duck soup is that I wish there was more. Overall a very awesome dining experience. will definitely be back on my own time!

Celebrated my birthday here this past Saturday. I loved the ambiance, service and the food. We ordered the Family Meal for two, $108, which included the Smacked Cucumber Salad, Pork Soup Dumpling, Sichuan Seafood Dumpling, Sichuan String Beans, Wagyu Beef Fried Rice, Sweet & Sour Chicken and Portuguese Egg Tart. Outside of the Family Meal, we ordered the Lobster Dumpling with Butter Sauce, Boba Milk Tea and Tsingtao Beer. Let me start off with the WOW factor, the Sichuan String Beans. We were both pleasantly surprised by the punch it packed. It has garlic, chili and a tad of fried pickled turnips. Yum! The bean was still crunchy and surprisingly the outer batter still packed a crunch. It's not drenched in oil, but there's enough of the seasoning/spices to stay with every bite. Another favorite within the Meal was the Sichuan Seafood Dumpling. But it's hard to tell whether I was hooked on the Dumpling itself, or the sauce in which it was swimming. It was a delicious chili oil. I found myself using this as a dip for everything. The Shrimp balls were great. They were plated on top of what appeared to be a mayo aioli, yet they shaped them like shrimp instead of regular balls. I could take or leave the aioli, but the shrimp was devine. The Lobster Dumpling was also a favorite. I would definitely order this again. I know it's only a drink, but the Boba Milk tea was amazingly good. When you start with fabulous, robust tea, you get the best quality Milk Tea. Everything else was good, but not remarkable. I will say that the portion size of the Sweet & Sour Chicken was minimal. There might have only been a dozen cubes of chicken. All in all, there was a LOT of food for two. Everything except for dumplings became leftovers. Here's What I Think...I can't wait to bring some family members here.

Located in the upper level of Ghirardelli Square, this wonderful gem of a place seats both indoor & outdoor seating with ample parking in the Ghirardelli Parking lot! I came with a group of people and ordered the 5 person family meal for 5 people. I highly recommend making reservations if you come on the weekends or have a large party but want to earn you that for 5 or more people, they require an up front charge on your credit card of $15/person to be refunded but yet to be determined as of this writing. The overall quality of the food was good however when I got the bill , they automatically tacked on a $50 gratuity which really bothered some of my guests. Overall, great service! Good Food (but expensive) and Parking!!(thumbs up!)
